Byteworks International Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore on 16 May 2000. The Directors of the company are a retired senior naval officer and two IT graduates from the National University of Singapore. It started as a web design and system integration company and a reseller of web hosting & dedicated lease line services for a well-known ISP in Singapore.       

In 2002, the company, with the support of its strategic partners, offered Application Business Solutions (ERP), to Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore.

In early 2005, Byteworks International Pte Ltd secured the rights to distribute Kaspersky Lab Consumer and Corporate Security Products to the Singapore market. Byteworks is the "Father & Mother" of Kaspersky products in this market as prior to 2005, Kaspersky Lab was not represented here in Singapore and very few end users were aware of this world class brand and its products.

From 2009, Byteworks focuses on distributing Kaspersky Lab's full range of Corporate Security Products in Singapore. Byteworks also provides technical support to partners and end users.

Byteworks' technical staff is trained and certified by Kaspersky Lab, Moscow. Our Technical Director and his team have over 16 years of experience and accumulated knowledge on Kaspersky Lab's applications thus making Byteworks one of the most reliable partner that is able to ensure End Users have a hassle free experience with Kaspersky Lab Security Solutions
